Tot School

Our week began great last Monday and around 11 am I went downhill. I have been in bed (or at the toilet) pretty much since then. Krash and I had a fun Tot School morning together last Monday though...

I finally put new batteries back into our Little People A to Z Learning Zoo Playset and he was amazed that it made noise! He's always played with it without batteries and loved it. It says the letter names and animals names and sounds, it's great! He asked me to read this great book with him, I love snatching up bargain books at Marshalls, TJMaxx and stores like that!
Finally we got out Automoblox, I broke them all apart and he built this entire car on his own with no help. Then he played for a LONG time with it, putting the wheels in and out of the back compartment. I love these cars!!!
My wonderful Dad "Baba" is here this week (he got here on Monday right after I got sick again). He is AMAZING and has been Super Baba all week as my husband has had an insane work schedule. My Dad does it all, meals, YMCA gym class, dirty diapers, bedtimes, playtime... everything. I don't know how we would have survived this week without him. He's still here and we are so thankful! I happened to meander downstairs for a drink one day and found them playing and working on colors with our peg board. Thankfully my camera was sitting right there!

Lifting you in prayers for healing and strength during this time - I can't imagine how bad you must be feeling.
Hang in there and know you are missed and in our thoughts.

I'm going to try a tot school post for the first time this week. But I've got to remember to pull my camera out more often!

So glad to hear that your dad can be there! I bet the boys love the special time with their pappy. I hope you can rest and not worry. I am praying for you! Just think you will soon be feeling this little one moving around inside and know it is waiting to meet you! I do hope you soon feel better some. Are you trying ginger? gingerbread, ginger snaps, certain teas have ginger? I always heard it helped some but I was never that sick with pregnancies so I never needed to try it. I had other complications though and in everything, the Lord is always in control. This is the time for you to rest so just rest and know we are praying for you and baby... and the those boys in your life! :)

Carisa,

I tried to leave the URL to my Tot School post and for some reason, it only took my home page URL. Here is the direct link to my post for Tot School http://homeschoolroster.com/blog/2008/10/12/tot-school-3-i-am-seeing-red/ . I'm not sure what happened.

Once a daddy's girl, always a daddy's girl. As I get older, I appreciate my parents even more. It is great that your father was able to spend time w/you and the boys.

Rest and enjoy your week the best you can.
